Learn how to make Burek with homemade filo pastry. (This pastry has its roots in the Ottoman Empire). The traditional method is time consuming, but the pastry is so light and crisp it's worth the work. A beginners lesson on how to make and roll out/stretch out delicate crispy and delicious filo pasty and make it into a meat or spinach and feta Burek. Working with Digital SLR cameras, the course covers photography technique, framing and composition, studio and natural lighting, computer tools to enhance your images, working with dynamic subjects, portraits and landscapes. The course offers a mix of in class learning with practical shooting. Students will learn to shoot images in a working photography studio with cyclorama and professional lighting and will gain practical skills to shoot from just about anywhere. Course facilitator, Jorge de Araújo, is Kindred Studio’s resident photographer and has 13 years experience in the industry.
