to Sunday, 6 December 2009
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
In 1943 Abraham Maslow theorised that in order for the person to reach their full potential, some basic needs had to be met. This exhibition celebrates the most fundamental need of shelter as having a place that one can call home, is where dreams are born.
To celebrate Housing Week, several community housing tenants came together to produce raw art for this exhibition and to share with you their thoughts and feelings and their life’s passions.
Housing – the Art of Community will graciously be supported by local artists from the studios of Mream.
