| Council's annual Civic Awards recognise individuals and organisations who have donates their time to help others and support the growth of the local community over the past 12 months.
If you wish to nominate a person or an organisation for an award please complete an application form (attached below) and return it to Council by Monday 7 December 2009.
In 2010 awards are being offered in 4 categories.

 | Young Citizen of the Year (up to 25 years) | | Community Service - Individual | | Community Service - Group/Organisation | | Emerging Community Leaders – Individual/Group

| Judging Panel and Awards Ceremony | | A judging panel, including the Mayor and community representatives, will consider all nominations and determine the winners for each category. Awards will be presented at the Civic Awards Ceremony held as part of Council’s Australia Day celebrations on Tuesday 26 January 2010.
