She's Game is designed to increase the number of women participating in sport and physical activity across the council. Here, you can find information and other resources designed to help your club increase female participation, inclusion and safety.

She's Game: Small Grants Program

Maribyrnong City Council is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 She's Game Small Grants Program. This program is designed to assist clubs to create new initiatives aimed at increasing female participation, inclusion and/or safety.

We look forward to working with these clubs over the coming months as they implement their new programs.

This video, produced as part of the She's Game project, explores the motivations of women participating in local sport, the barriers and discriminations they have experienced while participating, and the actions that clubs can take over come these barriers.

Club Based Education Program

The Club Based Education Program has been designed to provide clubs with the necessary information to effectively increase female participation, inclusion or safety within their club.

By using activities, videos and other resources, this program walks club members through the motivations for women's participation, the barriers they often face when attempting to participate, and the actions that clubs can undertake to overcome these barriers.
