Notice of Intention to Enter into a Licence

Maribyrnong City Council (Council) hereby gives notice of its intention to enter into a licence with Quang Minh Temple, for the licensed area being part of the land contained in certificate of title volume 7940 folio 148 and known as 16-18 Burke Street, Braybrook, as shown in the plan below.

The proposal is for the purposes of constructing a shared trail path over part of the Quang Minh Temple site in Braybrook, which is part of the extension of the Maribyrnong River Trail.
The proposed licence will be for a term of twenty (20) years, with two (2) further terms of ten (10) years each. The licence fee during the term is $1.00 (if demanded).

How to Make a Written Submission

Persons making submissions may request to be heard in support of their submissions. Any request to be heard must be clearly stated within the written submission. Any person requesting to be heard is entitled to appear in person or by a person acting on their behalf before a meeting of Council or a committee appointed by Council.

All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act). Following the consideration of any submissions, Council may decide to enter or not to enter into the licence.
