The Adult Swim Lessons program is for adults only and classes are separate from the children classes. Lessons are available for all skill levels from complete beginners through to lap swimmers. Lessons are held on a range of days and times. Our fully qualified instructors have a special interest in helping adults learn to swim, or to develop your swimming skills and techniques according to your goals and needs.
Adult Beginners Class
In this 30 minute class you will learn the basic foundations of swimming: Confidence, breath control, body orientation and basic strokes.
Adult Intermediate Class
In this 30 minute class you will learn to develop your swimming skills with your face in the water on your front and some swimming skills on your back. In this class learn coordinated breathing techniques while you swim.
Adult Advanced Class
In this 30 minute class you will need to be able to swim with at least two recognisable strokes, using correct technique. This class will build your strength and stamina until you can swim multiple laps without stopping.
Adult MACqua Laps
This 1 hour class is for Adult swimmers who have graduated out of our Advanced class, or who can swim 100m with ease in at least two strokes. Make some friends while you build stamina and strength, or make this part of your health and wellness routine. Adult MACqua Laps is held on a Monday night
