Disability Advisory Committee

The Disability Advisory Committee provides advice to Council about issues affecting people with disability. We are committed to promoting an inclusive community and responding to the needs and issues of community members with disability.

There are nine community members on the committee comprising people with disability, carers of people with disability and people representing disability-specific agencies. One Councillor is also nominated as Chairperson and one Council officer is nominated by the Manager Aged and Diversity - these are non-voting positions. The committee meets every six weeks.
