Craft Hatch @ MWF

Craft Victoria is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Melbourne Writers Festival to present a special market series, Craft Hatch @ MWF: Where Stories Meet Craft. The market will form part of the program for both the Melbourne Writers Festival and the inaugural Craft Cubed festival. Craft Hatch @ MWF will be held within the Federation Square Atrium and market dates are Sundays 23 and 30 August.

Brimbank Short Story and Poetry Awards 2009

Brimbank City Council is calling for entries for the Short Story & Poetry Awards, open to all persons who live, work or study in Brimbank.

There are short story categories for adults, teens, children, English as a Second Language (ESL) and poetry categories for adults and teens. Judged by authors Ilsa Evans (short stories) and Lia Hills (poetry).
 
There is no charge to enter the competition, and over $3,000 in prizes, entries close 17 July 2009
