Home>Libraries>About the Library Service
| The library service has four branches - Footscray, Highpoint, West Footscray and Yarraville - as well as a home library service for people who cannot get to the library due to age or disability. | |
| Membership | | Membership is free and available to any Victorian resident with proof of their residential address. Children and young adults under 18 require a parent's/guardian's signature to become a member.
Members may borrow from any branch of the Maribyrnong Library Service. Up to 30 items may be borrowed for a 3 week loan. Items may be renewed in person, by telephone during Library opening hours, or over the internet via the online catalogue at any time.
Two renewals are permitted per item, unless the item has already been reserved by someone else. Please note that there are fines and charges for late return of items. | |
