Summer Reading Club 2011/2012 - The Amazing Read
The Summer Reading Club is a free school holiday program for school age children. Registration is now open and closes on Friday 27 January 2012.
Children can register at any branch and collect a reading log, bookmark and activity pack. When children read 5 books they can then come back to the library to collect a sticker. When they have read ten books and filled in their reading record they can come back to the library to collect a tattoo, hand in their reading record and fill in an entry form to enter the prize draw. The more reading records you complete the more chance you have of winning a prize. Prizes are a family pass to Science Works and two book packs per age group. Children can also enter the draw to win a state-based prize of an iPod donated by Encyclopaedia Britannica.

More information, online games, activities and author chats can be found on www.summerreadingclub.org.au
