The Spring into Summer Series is a free program offering a range of 5-week physical activity and wellbeing programs delivered around the City of Maribyrnong and online. All programs are delivered by experienced local health, fitness and sport professionals with options suitable for all ages and fitness levels. 

2021 Spring into Summer Series runs from Monday 15 November until Sunday 19 December 

The 2021 Spring into Summer Series is bigger than ever! This year there is a total of 88 programs (each running for 5-weeks), that's 57 more programs than we had in last year's Spring into Summer Series.

There are also options for everyone to safely participate as COVID restrictions start to lift. You can choose to participate in one of our many face-to-face programs offered across Maribyrnong's beautiful parks, reserves, and some local facilities, or online in the comfort of your own home. 

How to get involved?

  1. Download the interactive timetable below.

  2. Choose which of the 5-week programs you would like to register for.
    (You can register for as many 5-week programs as you like!)

  3. Click on the time listed under the name of the program you wish to register for and you will be redirected to the Eventbrite registration page for that program.
    (Please note, for any program with multiple times listed, you must click on the specific time you wish to attend)

  4. Complete the online registration form for that 5-week program.
    (Please ensure you carefully read the program details before you register)

  5. Check your email for a booking confirmation email which contains all the program details in the attached PDF.
    (Please note, you must complete an online registration form for each 5-week program you wish to attend)

Frequently Asked Questions?

Do I have to be fully vaccinated to attend the 2021 Spring into Summer Series?

YES, for face-to-face programs. 

You must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend any of the face-to-face Spring into Summer Series programs this year. If you are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you can register for one of the online Spring into Summer Series programs. 

Can I register after the program has started?

YES.

You can register for any program at any point during the Spring into Summer Series.

Do I have to attend each week in the 5-week program I register for?

It is strongly encouraged. 

Each individual program in the Spring into Summer Series is a 5-week program. When you register for a 5-week program you have registered to attend each week. If you are no loner able to attend your program, please cancel your registration on Eventbrite or notify us via email so we can give your spot to someone on our waitlists.

How do I cancel my registration for a 5-week Spring into Summer Series program?

  1. Visit the Eventbrite website and sign in
  2. Click on ‘Tickets’ in the top left corner of your screen to view your Eventbrite orders
  3. Click on the ‘Spring into Summer Series’ program you wish to cancel
  4. Click on ‘Cancel Order’
  5.  Click on ‘Yes, Cancel This Order'

If a program needs to be cancelled, how will I be notified about the change?

You will be emailed with at least 2 hours warning prior to the commencement of your program. Please check the email you used to complete your Eventbrite registration for the Spring into Summer Series programs.

If you do not receive any communication from us, please assume that your program is still going ahead. 

What if the program I wish to register for is full?

Join the waitlist and you will be notified if a spot becomes available via the email address you have provided on Eventbrite. 

Please note, you will have 36 hours to respond to secure your spot in the program.

How do I join the online program I registered for?

All online programs are delivered via 'Zoom'. You will receive the 'Zoom' link for your online program in the confirmation email from Eventbrite. 
(Please note, you will use the same link for the whole 5-week program)

Using a laptop?

Simply click on the 'Zoom’ link to access the program each week.

Using a smartphone or tablet?

Download the free application to your device before the program commencement date and use the ‘Zoom’ Meeting ID and Passcode in your booking confirmation email to join the program each week.
