Christmas 2020 Star Resized

Jingle & jam to Maribyrnong 12 days of Christmas e-Carol

Let’s get caroling the COVID normal way! Our popular, local singer and song writer Rebecca Barnard and friends have written the first Maribyrnong 12 days of Christmas e-Carol and we’re inviting choirs, schools, traders, families (and everyone in between) to record themselves singing our jingle, send it in, and we’ll cut it together to make the best music video Santa’s ever seen.

But wait, there’s more! What’s a jingle without a jam? We’ll also share some dance moves to accompany the Maribyrnong 12 days of Christmas e-Carol so choristers can bop to the moves which will form part of the music video.

Our version of the 12 days of Christmas also aims to turn the spotlight on our local traders and business centres providing another opportunity to share the festive spirit with them.

To get started all you have to do is:

  1. Visit

  2. Learn the words and dance moves to Maribyrnong 12 days of Christmas e-Carol

  3. Record yourself/ group singing and dancing, or playing an instrument

  4. Send in your video via the drop link on before entries close on Tuesday 1 December.

We’ll release the edited version in time for Christmas!
