Take the pledge to recycle right

Did you know that recycling one aluminum tin can save enough energy to run a TV for 2 hours?

Recycling is one of the simplest actions that we can take at home and at work to help protect our natural resources, save energy and have a positive impact on the world in which we live.

Show your commitment to recycling and helping the environment by taking the pledge at the bottom of the page.

By taking some simple actions, like recycling from every room in the house, and buying recycled products, you can make a huge difference!

Have you received a Recycle Right bin tag?

To help residents identify and avoid common recycling mistakes, and reduce recycling contamination, Council deliver the 'Recycle Right'  bin check program each year.

Bins that receive a random check will also receive a tag. These tags are designed to help residents identify any items that they are recycling incorrectly, so that they can put these in the correct bin in future.

If you are one of those people that recycle right, you will receive a Thank You tag, and can enter the Recycle Right draw for the chance to win a prize.  You can register your tag below.
