We are calling on all aspiring video makers in years 1 to 8 who are attending a school within the City of Maribyrnong to enter our video competition to help in our ongoing war against waste!

All you need to do is create a video between 30 and 60 seconds in length with a focus on how to recycle correctly and avoid some of the common recycling mistakes.

The competition is open until Friday 28 June 2019. Students can enter as a class or a small group, or go it alone, all are eligible to enter for the chance to win some great prizes.

Makers of the winning video will receive a video making workshop from a professional videographer and the creation will be screened at the magnificent Sun Theatre. Five runners up will receive a National Geographic voucher for their class valued at $150 each.

Be sure to read the entry guidelines below for some helpful ideas, tips and topics to include in your video. Once you’ve created your video, you will need to upload it to YouTube and provide the link on your entry form.
