Immunisation program

To help protect the health of our community, we provide free vaccinations, user-pay vaccines and school-based immunisation for secondary school students.

Book an immunisation session

Please call our immunisation line on 9688 0145 to make an appointment.

Attending an immunisation session

Please bring your Childhood Health Record Book and Medicare details with you. Families with no Medicare are eligible for vaccinations.

You should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the session finishing as there is a 15 minute observation period after immunisations.

Always read the pre-immunisation checklist and inform the nurse of any concerns prior to immunisation.

Infant Immunisation

Children can be immunised from 6 weeks of age. When attending your child's first immunisation session, please complete the pink consent card and bring with you.

No jab, no play/No jab, no pay

Children can only be enrolled in kindergarten and childcare with proof that they are fully immunised for their age, or have commenced an immunisation catch up program. Some tax and childcare benefits may be withheld by the Government if your child is not fully immunised.

Incomplete immunisation history

The immunisation service can assist you with a 'catch up' plan for incomplete, missing or overseas immunisation records.

Drop-in immunisation services

Immunisations can be done at one of our drop in immunisation sessions. These sessions provide all free vaccinations and are available to Medicare card holders.
