In addition to the many services we provide, there are a number of other support services available, most of which provide support services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The below services are for non-emergency health advice only. In the event of an emergency call triple zero immediately or attend your local hospital's emergency department.

Maternal and Child Health Line
The Maternal and Child Health Line is a free and confidential service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Parents with new babies or with commencing school age children can speak with a qualified Maternal and Child Health Nurse.
Nurse on Call
Nurse on Call is a free telephone service which provides access to expert health advice from a registered nurse, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Parentline is a phone service for parents and carers of children from birth to 18 years old. The phone service provides confidential and anonymous counselling and support on parenting issues.
Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia
Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA) supports families affected by anxiety and depression during pregnancy and in the first year of parenthood.
Playgroups bring young children, parents, families and communities together to learn and develop through informal play activities and social interaction. Find a playgroup you and your child can join, or start your very own playgroup.
Positive Powerful Parents
Positive Powerful Parents is a self advocacy group run by and for parents with an intellectual disability.
Safe Steps is Victoria's family violence support service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Raising Children Network
The Raising Children Network is designed for busy families. You will find articles, videos and other resources which are tailored to the different ages and stages of children. There's also tips and tricks on how to look after yourself as a parent too.
