Find a playgroup

Important notice

In response to COVID-19 many playgroups have been unable to meet in venues.

As further information becomes available we will update this web page.

If you have specific questions please email playgroups@maribyrnong.vic.gov.au or telephone 9688 0200.

Playgroups give you an opportunity to meet other local parents, gain support and share ideas, while your children enjoy socialising.

Most playgroups are casually run by parents or carers with the times, venue and play activities chosen to suit the group. Playgroups can have excursions or incursions and are encouraged to have insurance and stay connected when parents return to work.

Join a playgroup

Some playgroups have and will continue to meet online, while other playgroups are now meeting in playgrounds and in some venues.

See a list of  playgroups in City of Maribyrnong(PDF, 2MB) , alternatively you can see a list of playgroups that meet at our community centres, or, you can find other playgroups in your area through Playgroup Victoria.
