What are Seniors Day Trips?

Seniors day trips are low cost outing for members of the community aged over 60. Trips range from the Portarlington Pier to Healesville Sanctuary, and many places in between. It is a perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the company of others from the community.

When do they happen?

Seniors Day Trips occur weekly on Mondays and Tuesday during school terms. There are no trips on school holidays or public holidays

Is there a cost?

There is a cost for the bus and entrance fees where applicable. Meals at not included unless specified. The costs are outlined in the brochure.

Pick-up/Drop off

There are 2 pick up/drop off points:

  • Footscray Library - Paisley St Footscray
  • Raleigh Road Activity Centre - 54 Raleigh Road Maribyrnong.


You can book through Community Services reception. Bookings can be made up to one month ahead. A maximum of 4 trips per month may be booked over Monday and Tuesday.
