Maribyrnong City Council is seeking nominations from 6-10 community members for a new Arts Ambassadors Committee.

If you have experience and knowledge of the arts, a connection to Maribyrnong (live, work, recreate, study or volunteer), and want to make a dynamic contribution to the creative life of Maribyrnong please consider applying. The purpose of the committee is an advisory one, and not a decision making one.

  • Provide feedback regarding the creation and implementation of various Council policies and strategies;
  • Support Council as an advocate for the arts, to inform the community – when appropriate – of matters pertaining to the arts, and to help disseminate key Council information;
  • Participate in arts and cultural projects and attend arts events that are relevant.

Each Ambassador will be appointed for a term of two (2) years and be expected to meet four times a year.
