StreetWORKS Street Art Walking Tours: Footscray

abundance KG.jpg

Brighten up your winter with a free walking tour of new light-based artwork Welcome to Footscray by Brook Andrew and nine bold and colourful new murals in the Footscray CBD created by: Katherine Gailer, Tom Civil, Hayden Dewar, Justine McAllister, Liv McCarten, Madi Mercer, Abbey Rich & Olana Janfa, Eric Sesto and Daniel van de Wiel. (Please note: due to timing considerations, not all artworks may be viewed on each tour.)

These new artworks were delivered in a partnership between the Victorian State Government and Maribyrnong City Council to foster creativity, deter vandalism and beautify the central business district area.

Come along to a walking tour led by Council's Public Art Curator to view a selection of the artworks and learn about the process behind these works. Meet near the entrance of Footscray Library, 56 Paisley Street, Footscray.
