Footscray Community Arts Centre is opening the Roslyn Smorgon and Gabriel Galleries to themes of disability pride and resistance featuring local artist Larissa McFarlane in residency with Grandstanding not Handstanding, and group exhibition How About a Rainbow? from the artists in ArtLife. A colourful, experimental exploration of disability, identity and pride in varied art forms including paste ups, animation, painting, drawing and installation.

Stop by FCAC during Open Studios in the West to meet the artists involved and join a drop-in workshop on Saturday between 11am-1pm
