Literary Workshops: Writing about Sensitive Material
Privacy protocols among healthcare workers is an important aspect of the therapeutic relationship and taking information from interactions in confidential settings and using them creatively without protocol can be damaging on many levels. There are safety mechanisms that can be used to protect the identity of individuals on whom characters are based, especially when the characters are used in training tools or awareness raising campaigns.
Join Artsbox writers-in-residence Will Dunlop and Claire Bowen in a writing workshop that discusses safety protocols around developing creative content based on sensitive information from real experience.
