Held annually at Footscray Community Arts Centre, Wominjeka Festival is a program of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts, music and conversation.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2020, the Festival is offered through the spirit of generosity, teaching and sharing from the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri peoples of the greater Kulin nation.

At the heart of this year’s festival is Wominjeka’s Community Day, offering a multifaceted display of music, ceremony and workshops for whole entire family on Saturday 4 April.

The full weekend’s schedule welcomes all to partake in artist talks, exhibitions, film screenings and dance parties – each led by First Nations artists, curators and producers.

To view the full program visit Footscray Community Arts Centre website.
