Come down to the Maribyrnong River and experience the ‘Many Hands Project’! A new and exciting public art and family fun activation taking place behind the Footscray Community Arts Centre.

This activation is a result of an expression of interest process that called for creative ideas to utilise and activate Henderson House Landing. The successful applicants were the River Edge Creative Alliance (RECA), a collaboration between the Waterside Metal Art Studio, BiGfiSh and Footscray Community Arts Centre.

The ‘Many Hands Project’ will combine a licensed container bar with various free lawn games such as giant jenga, bowls and quoits! Attendees can also try some cold (Blacksmith) forging of positive symbols or icons onto a coin which can be taken home or hung along the railings of the Henderson House Landing forming a temporary art installation.

Join the fun for two Saturdays in March at the Henderson House Landing along the Maribyrnong River Trail, Footscray.
