Augmented Reality App - MARIality
MARIality is Council’s Augmented Reality (AR) app which showcases our great City in a whole new way. AR is an interactive digital experience of our real-world environment. Ordinary objects are enhanced by computer-generated graphics and things become even more fun!
Christmas 2023 has three fun AR experiences:
- West Footscray Gingerbread Hunt
- Yarraville AR Elf trail
- Santa and Mrs Claus boogie in Footscray

The MARIality App icon features artwork by local talented artist Justine McAllister. Her work was one piece we activated in 2021 and can still be enjoyed with the MARIality App.
Privacy
MARIality does not require that you set up an account to explore the AR activations. Personal details will only be requested if you choose to enter our Santa and Sirens competition at the end of the AR colouring experience.
