The Deck Out West

Relax by the Maribyrnong River on Sunday afternoons from 12 February - 19 March at this free pop-up live music series.

Music lovers will be able to enjoy summer sunset sessions, alongside food trucks, lawn games and beautiful views across the River to Melbourne’s CBD.

The line-up will vary from week to week and will feature both established and emerging contemporary artists with Hayley Mary, Sound Exchange, Andy Golledge and Horns of Leroy just some of the incredible artists on the bill. 

The Deck Out West is a Footscray University Town initiative, developed through a collaboration between Maribyrnong City Council and Victoria University (VU), and produced by creative agency The Background.

Getting There

Patrons are encouraged to take public transport, cycle or walk to this event. Bike racks will be available at the event.

Bus 472 runs along Farnworth Avenue, get off at Henry Turner South Oval at VU.

Footscray City Rowing Club is approximately a 15minute walk from Footscray Train Station.

Parking is available in the VU park car park and along Maribyrnong Blvd next to the Rowing Club.
