Home Library Service

Did you know that your library offers a free home library service for eligible residents?

Our Outreach Services Librarian works with a group of volunteers to provide a friendly, personalised library service for residents who are housebound.

Eligibility

The service is available to residents who are unable to visit the library for reasons such as disability, chronic illness, being a full-time carer, frail aged or a resident in a care facility.

How does it work?

The Outreach Services Librarian will visit and discuss what you like to read, watch or listen to and will select items for you according to your preferences. Your library items will be delivered by a volunteer to your home on a regular basis.

What can I borrow?

Books (including Large Print), magazines, material in community languages, DVDs, Music CDs, Talking Books and eResources.

Contact the library on 9688 0290 and ask about the Home Library Service.
