Do you have a coat or jacket that you no longer need?

The Need A Coat program provides free coats and warm garments to people in need. You can help make someone's winter a bit warmer by leaving a clean coat on the racks provided at Braybrook and Footscray, or leaving a coat with library staff at any of our five branches.

Alternatively, if you are in need of a warm garment this winter, please try one on for size. We hope it's a good fit!

Try a coat off the rack

During opening hours at the following branches, you can try on a coat off the rack at:

  • Braybrook Community Hub, 107-109 Churchill Avenue, Braybrook.
  • Footscray Library, 56 Paisley Street, Footscray.

To view the opening hours of our libraries please visit the Library Branches page.

During opening hours take your unwanted, clean coats or jackets which are in good condition to one of our five library branches:

  1. Braybrook Library, 107-109 Churchill Avenue, Braybrook.
