If you have COVID-19 symptoms and you return a negative result, you should stay home until your symptoms go away and repeat the RAT over the next several days.

If you test positive to COVID-19 there are things you need to do to protect yourself and the community. Visit the Victorian Department of Health’s Coronavirus Victoria website to complete the checklist for COVID-19 cases. The checklist contains information on managing COVID-19 at home and advice on eligibility for COVID-19 antiviral medicine.

Alternatively, the National Coronavirus Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 1800 020 080. If you need an interpreter, call TIS National on 131 450.
