Who can access the Centre?

MAC members and the public have access to the Centre.

Do I have to wear a face mask?

No. Current State Government guidelines advise that you do not need to wear a facemask, however please carry a mask and use it if you cannot maintain a safe distance of 1.5m from other patrons.

What days/times will you be open?

The Centre has resumed normal business hours which are as follows:

  • 5.45am to 10pm on weekdays
  • 8am to 6pm on weekends.

For group fitness class times please refer to the Group Fitness Class Timetable.

Bookings via the Online Client Portal are essential if you wish to attend the Spa, Sauna, Steam Room, Warm Water Exercise Pool and Group Fitness sessions.

What facilities will be open/closed?

ALL Facilities at MAC are now OPEN!! These include:

  • Lap pool, which will be set up in the 25m configuration
  • The warm water pool (bookings required)
  • Spa, Sauna and Steam Room (bookings required)
  • Health Club
  • Group fitness classes (bookings required)
  • Occasional Care (bookings required)
  • Change rooms (for changing and showering)
  • Toilets
  • Water fountains to fill bottles you bring with you. Drinking directly from water fountains is strictly prohibited at this time
  • Learn to Swim Program

What about my membership?

ALL memberships have reactivated as of Wednesday the 27th of January, 2021 unless you have cancelled or suspended. If you wish to remain on a suspension please email us at with your suspension start and end date.

Have Swimming Lessons resumed?

Yes! Lessons resumed from Wednesday the 27th of January. Students have returned to the same lesson day and time that they were attending prior to our closure unless notified otherwise. Please phone us on 9032 4100 if you wish to alter your lesson day/time.

What about my Personal Training Sessions?

Personal Training can still be booked with your usual Personal Trainer. Personal Training sessions will take place outside and will only be conducted in the Health Club if there is available space. All Personal Training sessions must be pre-purchased online and booked directly with your chosen Personal Trainer.

Prices for Personal Training sessions for Members remain unchanged at:

  • 30 min session: $45 / 11 session pack: $450.00
  • 60 min session: $72 / 11 session pack: $720.00.

All Personal Trainer sessions and packs must be purchased in advance of your session. Once you have purchased your sessions and packs, you can contact your Personal Trainer to book in your session time.

What about my group fitness classes?

You can attend group fitness classes, however in line with State Government restrictions, capacity limits are in place. You can secure your spot in your favourite group fitness class by booking via the Online Client Portal.

Group fitness classes will run for 30 or 45min depending on the class – please visit for more information.

I am not a member but would like to join. Can I?

Yes you can! You are able to sign up in the Centre or you can simply visit the Online Client Portal and follow the prompts. You can find our more about our membership options here

Can I use my multi visit pass?

Patrons are able to utilise their multi-visit passes – all visit pass expiries will be automatically extended.

What do I need to bring with me?

Items to bring with you for your visit include:

  • Your membership access card (if you have one)  
  • A water bottle – there will be access to water fountains during your time however, only to refill bottles. You will not be able to drink directly from water fountains.
  • Towel to sit on if visiting the Steam Room or Sauna
  • Towel and or exercise mat if you are attending a health club or group fitness class.

Do I need to bring my membership card?

If you have a membership card please bring it with you when you visit us. If you are yet to receive an access card please let us know when you attend the Centre and one of our team will print you one.

How do I enter/depart the venue?

To enter

Make your way to the Main Entry on Aquatic Drive. You may be required to wait at the doors prior to your session start time. Please use the hand sanitiser provided on entry. Follow the floor markings and line up at the Front Desk, ensuring a distance of 1.5 metres from others.

Please exit the Centre via the Main Entry doors.

Is Squad Training on at this time?

Yes, squad training has returned. Please direct all enquiries regarding squad training to Western Aquatic Academy at 0411 161 147. 


What cleaning plan is in place at MAC to keep me safe?

  • Hand sanitiser stations
  • Thorough cleaning regimes throughout the day
  • Removal of touch points throughout the facility
  • Introduction of sneeze guard barriers at customer service desk
  • Staff received health and safety training prior to recommencing work.
