MAC COVID-19 Updates

The Premier has announced a continuation of almost all current lockdown restrictions until such time that a minimum of 70 per cent of Victorians have received a first vaccination dose.  The Premier has advised that the current restrictions will remain until at least 23 September.

Until 23 September the five permitted reasons to leave home are:

  1. Shopping for food and supplies within 5kms of home.
  2. Authorised work and study if it can't be done from home.
  3. Care and caregiving.
  4. Exercise within 5kms of home.
  5. Getting vaccinated.

All other restrictions, including wearing a mask indoors and outdoors remain in place.

Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre and Council operated libraries and community centres will all remain closed during this time.

All swimming lessons, pool and spa bookings, group fitness classes, gym bookings and casual bookings have been cancelled.
