Join our holiday program and take part in some exciting activities.

Who can sign up?

The program is open to people aged 12 to 25 years who live, work, study or recreate in the City of Maribyrnong.

We offer an inclusive program that is appropriate to support people with independent mobility and low to moderate support needs.  Please contact us to discuss individual needs

RAD Program

Monday 25 September, 10.30am - 3.30pm
Venue: Whitten Oval, 417 Barky Street Footscray
Cost: Free

Spirit West community engagement team are inviting young people who have an interest in playing volleyball to attend a workshop facilitated by Volleyball Australia at Whitten Oval.  For newly-arrived young people who have been in Australia for less than 6 years.

Trees Adventure
Wednesday 27 September, 11.00am - 4.00pm
Venue: Trees Adventure, Belgrave
Cost: $10
Meet at: Phoenix Youth Hub

Trees Adventure is an exhilarating tree-top course located in Belgrave, Melbourne.  Ziplines, flying foxes, and rope courses - suitable for all ages.
Limited spots for 10 young people.

Big Bang Soccer Tournament
Thursday 28 September, 10.30am - 4.00pm
Venue: Braybrook Recwest, 39 Lily Street Braybrook
Cost: $5 per player
         $2 per spectator

5 vs 5. Register your team and show your Futsal soccer skills in the tournament.  Come and learn new basketball moves and compete in the skills challenge with heaps of prizes to be won.  We now have male only and female only tournaments.

Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium
Tuesday 3 October, 11.45am - 4.00pm
Venue: Sea Life Aquarium, Melbourne
Cost: $10
Meet at: Phoenix Youth Hub

The aquarium feature exhibits with King Penguins and Gentoo Penguins as well as many Antarctic fish, a first for Australia.  The exhibits also feature real ice and snow to simulate Antarctic conditions and take visitors on an expedition to Antarctica.

Screen Printing
Thursday 5 October, 1.30pm - 4.00pm
Venue: Phoenix Youth Hub, Footscray
Cost:  Free

Design and cut a stencil design, then use the stencil to print your own t-shirt.  T-shirts will be supplied.
