Looking for something to do in the school holidays?

Join our holiday program and take part in some exciting activities.

Who can sign up?

The program is open to people aged 12 to 25 years who live, work, study or recreate in the City of Maribyrnong.

We offer an inclusive program that is appropriate to support people with independent mobility and low to moderate support needs.  Please contact us to discuss individual needs

Activities

Despicable Me 3 (PG)

Wednesday 5 July, 1pm - 4.30pm
Venue: Hoyts Cinema Highpoint
Cost: $10
Meet at: Phoenix Youth Hub

Calling all minions! Come along to watch Gru (Steve Carell) and his wife Lucy (Kristen Wiig) battle against former 90's child star Balthazar Bratt (Try Parker) as he tries to achieve world domination.

Limited spots for 10 young people

Big Bang Soccer Tournament
Thursday 6 and Friday 7 July, 10.30am - 4pm
Venue: Braybrook Recwest, 39 Lily Street, Braybrook
Cost: $5 per player, $2 per spectator

5 vs 5. Register your team and show your Futsal soccer skills in the tournament. Come and learn new moves and compete in the skills challenge with heaps of prizes to be won. We now have male only and female only tournaments.

Bounce
Tuesday 11 July, 1pm - 4pm
Venue: Bounce, Essendon Fields
Cost: $10
Meet at: Phoenix Youth Hub

Fly through the air and bounce off the walls. BOUNCE  is a massive indoor trampoline park. Come join us for this activity and make new friends whilst having fun.

Limited spots for 10 young people.

Tote Bag Making
Wednesday 12 July, 1pm - 4pm
Venue: Phoenix Youth Hub, 72 Buckley Street, Footscray
Cost: Free

Fashion designer Suzan Dlouhy, from independent local label SZN and The Social Studio, hosts this workshop. Learn how to make a tote bag by hand, with all materials included! This is a great chance to learn how to thread a needle, sew a running stitch and make your own accessory.

12 spaces only. For 14 – 25 year olds.

RAD Program
Friday 14 July, 11am - 4pm
Venue: St Albans Community Hub
Cost: Free
Meet at: St Albans Train Station at 10.45am

A creative arts program. Learn new dance moves, gain new drawing skills, try out your acting skills and make new friends. Free lunch, show bags and much more! For newly arrived young people who have been in Australia for less than 6 years.
