The Slow Food Melbourne (SFM) farmers’ market, affectionately known as SloFo WeFo by locals, is moving to Johnson Reserve, just an eight minute walk from the current site and still in the heart of West Footscray.
Slow Food Melbourne cares about where food comes from and the hard-working folk who produce it, supporting a slower, richer pace of living connected to culture and history through the living lens of food.
Locals can expect to be spoilt with the best Victorian produce with a focus on producers and artisan makers who are local or from the west of the state and delivering with the lowest food miles. Takeaway food and ready to eat options will also be available.
Taking place every second Saturday of the month, this market is set to become a great addition to the local community as it offers a range of different stalls that support local Victorian farmers and artisanal producers.
