Place-Based Initiatives (Annual) Grants

The Place-Based Initiatives (Annual) funding stream supports activities that creatively activate public spaces, business precincts and local neighbourhoods.

Grants of up to $20,000 are available to not-for-profit organisations, incorporated community groups, or by applying through an auspice arrangement. The round opens annually, usually in May/June of each year.

Applications are assessed by Council’s Independent Peer Panel and recommendations are made to Council for endorsement.

The Place-Based Initiatives (Annual) Grants Program 2026/27 closed at 4pm on Monday 8 June 2026.

Outcomes will be notified following the 18 August 2026 Council Meeting.
