In a world where everyone has a podcast, Lindsey Green wondered, would anyone listen to a podcast about escalators? Turns out... they did. In ‘Lindsey Green’s Escalator Podcast Reunion’, producer Lindsey Green shares the story behind her cult-hit podcast ‘People Movers’ for the first time.

With a mission to highlight the impact of escalators on everyday life, Lindsey interviewed historians, artists, actors, industry experts, and perhaps the only person to love escalators more than her. The podcast saw Lindsey travel around Australia (well... to Sydney) and around the world (yes... seriously) and be interviewed by the likes of ABC, Radio New Zealand, and The New York Times Magazine.

That was, until People Movers was quietly removed from the internet in 2020, never to be heard again... until now.

Hear never-shared-before stories and learn about the interesting and unlikely ways that the humble revolving staircase has shaped our cities and changed our lives. Or maybe just Lindsey’s.
