We are thrilled to announce that in-person programs will return to the library from Monday 19 July. Bookings are essential and Covid-safe plans are in place. Find out which programs are running in-person at the Events page.

Now that the branches are opening for extended hours, there is a new schedule for Story Time and Baby Rhyme Time:

Story Time:

  • Monday 11am: Yarraville
  • Tuesday 11am: Braybrook
  • Wednesday 11am: Footscray
  • Thursday 11am: Maribyrnong
  • Friday 11am: West Footscray

Baby Rhyme Time:

  • Monday 11am: Maribyrnong
  • Tuesday 11am: West Footscray
  • Wednesday 11am: Yarraville
  • Wednesday 2pm: Footscray
  • Thursday 11am: Braybrook

In case you missed the news, from Monday 12 July all library branches will open with extended hours.

The new opening hours are:

  • Footscray: 10am-8pm Monday to Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday, and 2-5pm Sunday
  • Braybrook, Maribyrnong, West Footscray and Yarraville: 10am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-2pm Saturday
