Grab your book, blanket and beanie...we’re hibernating with books this winter!

Join us in our annual reading challenge where we encourage you to take more time to curl up with a great read. Don’t forget to grab a bookmark from the library and take part in our fortnightly challenges to keep your winter reading warm.

Track your reading

Register online with Beanstack, or visit your local Maribyrnong Libraries branch and pick up a Reading Journal and paper entry form. The program runs from Thursday 1 June to Thursday 31 August - submit your reading record and go in the running to win bookish prizes! Ages 16+.
 

Let us inspire you!

Collect bookmarks by ambassadors Sally Hepworth, Tony Birch, JP Pomare, Jennifer Down, Jacinta Parsons, Chris Flynn, Alice Pung and RWR McDonald, featuring their favourite Victorian authors. You can also browse and borrow online.

Join the conversation online by sharing your progress through the eight challenge activities using the #WWR23 hashtag and tag @MaribyrnongLibraries. These are not compulsory but are designed to keep you motivated. The challenge activities are:
