Independent Peers Panel Expressions of Interest Now Open
Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for suitably qualified community members to join our Independent Peer Panellists List. Members of the Panellists List may be called upon to perform assessment, review, recommendations and/or strategic advice functions to Council regarding its Community, Festivals and Activations and Arts and Culture Grants Programs.
Independent Peer Panels are subject to Terms of Reference which are available for download at the bottom of this page. Induction and training will be provided as required and Panellists will be remunerated for participation in Peer Panels. Applicants may express interest in one or more Programs.
Panellists may be called upon once, or on multiple occasions to join a Peer Panel during the term 2026-2029. Panellists may choose to participate or not, based on their availability, conflict of interest and circumstances at the time. If selected, Council will endeavour to provide at least one opportunity per Panellist for participation in a Peer Panel during their term.
Some of the skills we are seeking include:
- Experience in event delivery
- Community development
- Arts management
- Knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and the grants process.
