The Braybrook Bike Program provides hands-on instruction for young people to learn bicycle maintenance and repair skills. Through activities like tire fixing, brake adjustments, and gear tuning, young people gain practical knowledge and confidence. Additionally, the program promotes teamwork, responsibility, and environmental awareness by encouraging cycling as a sustainable transportation option. Workshops often incorporate safety education, fostering a culture of safe riding practices.
The program is for young people aged 12-18 who live, study, work or hang out in the City of Maribyrnong.
Where: Braybrook Commons Community Garden - 107-139 Churchill Ave, Braybrook VIC 3019
When. Every second Wednesday through the school terms, 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
