Ethiopian New Year is one of the most significant events of the year for the Ethiopian community, with many people travelling from right across Victoria to take part in the annual Footscray celebration.
This year's festival will be held at Footscray Park's Eastern Lawn and will include live music, DJs, African Drumming workshops, circus performances, kids rides, facepainting and more.
All are welcome at this free event which is proudly supported by Maribyrnong City Council through its Place-based Initiatives (Annual) Grants Program.
