MYAC 2026 – Expressions of Interest Now Open!

The Maribyrnong Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) is calling for new members aged 15–25 who live, work, study or recreate in the City of Maribyrnong and are passionate about their local community and creating positive change.

MYAC brings like-minded young people together across Maribyrnong to represent youth voices, advise Council, and lead impactful community projects.

What You’ll Gain

  • Work with like-minded young leaders
  • Advise Council on relevant issues, programs, and priorities
  • Help shape projects that support local young people
  • Connect with Councillors and community partners
  • Build leadership, advocacy, and consultation skills

Meetings are held fortnightly on Wednesday evenings (5:30–7:00pm) at the Phoenix Youth Hub or virtually.

We strongly encourage applications from young people of all backgrounds including culturally diverse, LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, and young people living with a disability.
