Come along to a pop-up event bringing the future of Creative West to life in Footscray.

• Workshops: podcasting (Being Biracial), circus skills (Women's Circus) and short videos (Cinespace)

• Live music and performances: Melbourne Djembe’s Firefly, Inner West Symphony Orchestra, Hyde St Youth Band

 

About Creative West

Creative West is a landmark project that will revitalise the Footscray CBD.

It will provide a welcoming place for the community to gather, learn new skills, attend events, and experience culture in the heart of Footscray.

Creative West will be made up of three elements, including:

• a world-class library supporting learning, creativity and innovation
• a performing arts venue supporting creatives and inspiring audiences across the west
• a shaded and green town park for wellbeing, recreation, gathering and events.

There will also be car parking to improve visitors experience to the area.

This project is proudly funded by the Australian Government’s urban Precincts and Partnerships Program in partnership with Maribyrnong City Council.
