Programs for Children and Young People
Creativity is recognised as a fundamental skill that enriches wellbeing, innovation and empathy. The value of children and young people participating in arts and cultural activities is well documented.

Maribyrnong Youth
Maribyrnong Youth supports the diverse needs of young people aged 12-25 through a broad range of programs and events across the city of Maribyrnong.
Based at Phoenix Youth Hub, the only youth-specific facility in the City of Maribyrnong, Phoenix is a place where young people can hang out, get involved in fun activities, access band rehearsal and recording spaces, run their own events, and access support services should they need it. Maribyrnong Library Services
Maribyrnong Libraries provide a wide range of programs and workshops for young people in the school holiday periods and after school, including knitting club, LEGO club, book club, coding and crafternoons.

Western Edge Youth Arts
Western Edge Youth Arts creates safe spaces for young people to tell their own stories in their own way, often through theatre, film and other performance practices. They offer industry pathways, schools programs and free weekly community ensemble programs.

Women’s Circus offers classes each term in tumbling and general circus skills for ages 6 and up at the Drill Hall, Footscray.
