About the artist
Mito Elias' residency project, Palimp_ Texto Dialogues, is an interdisciplinary exploration of poetry in all its forms.
During his Artsbox residency, Mito will experiment with spoken word and soundscapes, ephemeral “environmental poetics” using light and texture, and avant-garde video poetry.
Mito also plans to host readings and screenings that invite deeper reflection and community dialogue.
Community voices are at the heart of the project. Residents will be invited to contribute words, sounds and visual fragments, helping to weave a shared poetic record of Footscray.
