Support for school pride groups

Maribyrnong Youth Services provide ongoing support to teachers running Pride and SAGA groups in secondary schools within the City of Maribyrnong. Supports include:

  • Activity facilitation at Pride and SAGA meetings 
  • Support for days of significance like IDAHOBIT and Wear It Purple 
  • Project support for student led events that support LGBTQIA+ inclusion including leading co-design sessions with students
  • Professional development opportunities and resources to support school wide LGBTQIA+ inclusion

To ensure we can equitably support all secondary schools in the City of Maribyrnong, we recommend reaching out early to confirm availability.
