Get Involved Maribyrnong Workers with Young People Network

Maribyrnong Youth facilitates the Maribyrnong Youth Network, for youth-focused professionals from local secondary schools, not-for-profits, government agencies and other community organisations who work with young people aged 12 to 25 years old in the City of Maribyrnong.

The Network meets quarterly and aims to:

  • Distribute up to date information about the youth sector at local, state and federal levels
  • Offer opportunities for representatives to share information about new initiatives
  • Provide networking opportunities to strengthen partnerships and build resources for young people in Maribyrnong
  • Discuss emerging issues for young people and collaborate to improve outcomes for young people in the municipality

Meeting dates in 2026

  • Wednesday 4 March, 9.30 to 11am
  • Wednesday 13 May, 9:30 to 11am
  • Wednesday 12 August, 9:30 to 11am
  • Wednesday 28 October, 9:30 to 11am

Where

We hold our network meetings at the Phoenix Youth Hub, 72 Buckley Street, Footscray VIC 3011.

Submit your events, opportunities, or news about new research or reports in the youth sector to youth@maribyrong.vic.gov.au
Deadline for publication is the 20th of the preceding month (February, April, July, September 2026).
