Together Apart Rapid Relief Fund
Maribyrnong has one of the highest population of artists in Melbourne, along with a number of significant local arts organisations – all of which have been impacted by closures due to COVID-19. The Together Apart Rapid Relief Fund is designed to provide the local sector with the opportunity to continue to work, share their practice with the wider community and innovate through digital platforms. In these times of isolation, we need the arts more than ever to keep us connected.
Please note: The Together Apart Rapid Relief Fund has now been expended, and applications are now closed. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of the final round of assessments during the week of Monday 18 May.
Stay tuned for more information about the funded projects coming to this page soon.
Who can apply?
This is an opportunity only for artists/independent companies and arts or cultural organisations based in the City of Maribyrnong. All artforms are eligible to apply as long as you can deliver a digital outcome.
What support is available?
Arts and Culture Maribyrnong will support the local sector with rapid response funds of up to $2,000 for independents, and up to $10,000 for arts organisations for emergency relief, to establish new online platforms for sharing your work and for digital projects that can be developed and delivered whilst maintaining safe social distancing practices.
How will EOIs be assessed?
This is a rolling program and you can apply anytime until the fund is expended. All EOIs will be considered fortnightly based on demonstrated need, and engagement with digital platforms to benefit the arts sector and/or connect with the wider Maribyrnong community.
