Infant lessons

There are 4 WONDER levels in the infant program.

WONDER classes are for children aged from 6-months to 4 year olds. These are a parent and child class which require a parent in the water at all times during the class.

A parent’s confidence level is a vital part of the learning process with lessons focussing on both parent and child.

WONDER classes

WONDER classes cover activities to boost water familiarisation, water play, fun, parent and child bonding, trust in a new environment and the introduction of group activities.

WONDER classes level 1-2

WONDER classes level 1-2 accept a maximum of 6 children per class and are conducted in the leisure pool, water depth is 1.0 metre.

WONDER classes level 3-4

WONDER classes level 3 – 4 accept a maximum of 6 children per class and are conducted in the leisure pool, water depth is 60cm to 80cm.

Pre-school lessons

Pre-school classes for over 3 year olds, do not require a parent to be in the water.

Levels 1-3 accept a maximum of 5 children per class and are conducted in the leisure pool, water depth is 60cm to 80cm.

Please note, it's vital for the safety and enjoyment of all pool users that child who aren't properly toilet trained wear a well fitted swim nappy. These are available for purchase from reception.
