Infant Swim Lessons There are four WONDER levels in the infant program to help your kids get swimming. WONDER classes for under 4 year olds are a parent and child class which require a parent in the water at all times during the class. A parent’s confidence level is a vital part of the learning process with lessons focusing on both parents and children.

WONDER classes for under 4 year olds are a parent and child class which require a parent in the water at all times during the class. A parent’s confidence level is a vital part of the learning process with lessons focusing on both parents and children.
WONDER classes cover activities to boost water familiarisation, water play, fun, parent and child bonding, trust in a new environment and the introduction of group activities.
- WONDER 1 6 - 12 months
- WONDER 2 1 - 2 years old
- WONDER 3 2 - 3 years old
- WONDER 4 2.5 - 4 years old
WONDER 1 – 2 level classes accept a maximum of six children per class and are conducted in the leisure pool. Water depth is 1 metre. Duration: 28 minutes with two-minute changeover of classes.
WONDER 3 – 4 level classes accept a maximum of five children per class and are conducted in the leisure pool. Water depth is 60-80cm. Duration: 28 minutes with two-minute changeover of classes.
Preschool Swim Lessons
Preschool classes for over 3 year olds do not require a parent to be in the water. Levels 1-3 accept a maximum of 4 children per class and are conducted in the leisure pool, the water depth is 60 cm to 80 cm.
Duration: 28 minutes with a 2 minutes change over of classes.
Assessments
Pre-schoolers’ do not need an assessment simply book them via the MAC Online Client Portal, in person at MAC or over the phone.
Aqua nappy policy
It's vital for the safety and enjoyment of all pool users that child who aren't properly toilet trained wear a well fitted swim nappy. These are available for purchase from Customer Service.
