MAC's Active Teens program encourages teenagers to be more active, stay fit and live a healthy lifestyle.
The program encompasses both cardio and strength based exercise with dedicated qualified instructors. The program is available for 13 – 15 year olds who are looking to participate in regular physical activity in a safe controlled environment.
The MAC Active Teens membership offers teenagers the opportunity to participate in professionally instructed gym sessions, group fitness classes and unlimited access to pools. All Active Teens members have access to the following areas of MAC listed below:
- Health club between 5:45am and 5:30pm on each weekday. Teens can also book into a
- Group fitness classes between 5:45am and 6pm on each weekday
- Pools all day, 7 days a week.
Please Note: The Active Teens membership excludes spa, sauna and steam facilities.
All Active Teens members must attend an initial consultation with a parent or guardian present prior to starting. This consultation will cover gym etiquette, a health assessment and a personalised program will be written for each member. Every 6 to 8 weeks, members can book a reassessment to keep on track and motivated.
At 16 years of age, members will be required to upgrade from the Active Teen membership to an adult membership option.
