White Card Training

White card course (also known as construction induction training, construction white card, or red card training) is the mandatory work health and safety training required prior to undertaking construction work.

This course is being delivered by Origin Institute, fully accredited by WorkSafe VIC for face-to-face construction white card training programs. Victorian Construction Induction White Card is nationally accredited. Once completed, you can use it anywhere in Australia.

Enrolment Procedure

1. Complete booking online
2. Sign up for the Online Learning Platform (OLP) account from the confirmation email
3. Complete the enrolment form, ID upload and learning competency assessment in OLP
4. Attend your class

How to receive your white card

1. Complete the White Card course with Origin Institute
2. Receive a digital certificate (interim white card) from Origin Institute on the same day of course completion so you can start working
3. Receive a formal white card from WorkSafe Victoria

Valid Photo ID

You must hold a valid Photo ID (view the list of acceptable photo IDs).

Statement of Attainment and White Card cannot be issued if a participant does not provide a valid photo ID.

An overseas driver's licence is not acceptable.

For ages 16 – 25 years. Course is free and catering is provided.
